Wait what…this is in Bend!?? So I didn’t get to travel again!? By all accounts I was pretty sure I had somehow managed to find my way to an idyllic lodge in the Swiss countryside. The attention to style and detail on this one was impressive from the moment I walked in – crazy high vaulted ceilings, salvaged Juniper and Ponderosa Pine beams throughout, wooden floors shipped in from Bordeaux France, the careful and classy use of stone and iron. And did I mention the wood? Oh the wood! It just felt good in here. There’s no question why this one was able to sell by owner the very weekend it was listed. If only I had that 1.4 mil laying around…
