Where I live & shoot
About Bend & Central Oregon
High desert, big skies and the eastern foothills of the Cascades — in the words of your local real estate photographer.
I’m Wasim — a Central Oregon real estate photographer based in Sisters, and this high-desert region is the place I’m lucky to call home. Knowing it well is exactly what helps me photograph its homes so they shine.
Bend, Oregon
It’s no mystery why people are drawn here: the outdoors. Bend is one of the country’s premier outdoor playgrounds. Resting where Oregon’s high desert meets the eastern foothills of the Cascades — blanketed in juniper and Ponderosa pine — Bend enjoys four mild seasons that are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts of every kind.
The landscape, weather and culture offer year-round recreation — hiking, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding, golfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, camping and floating the river. And the region is dotted with some of the most charming farms, ranches, vineyards and B&Bs this side of our closest star.
…and all of Central Oregon
While Bend is the hub, Central Oregon is a whole region of distinct communities — and I photograph properties across all of them:
- Sisters — a storybook Western town at the foot of the Three Sisters, full of character and surrounded by ranch country.
- Redmond — fast-growing, central, and home to the regional airport that connects us to the world.
- Sunriver & the south county — resort living, vacation rentals and pine-forest retreats.
- Terrebonne, Powell Butte, Tumalo & beyond — acreage, hobby farms and ranches with room to breathe.
Easy to reach, hard to leave
Bend sits just under three hours from Portland International Airport by car, and a short 20-minute drive from Redmond Airport (RDM), with non-stop flights to Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Denver and most major U.S. hubs. We’re also just a few hours from Crater Lake National Park, Mount Hood, Eugene, Salem and Silver Falls State Park.
It’s easy to see why more and more people keep “discovering” Central Oregon — and why the homes here, set against this landscape, deserve photography that does them justice.

Got a property in Central Oregon?
Wherever it is in the region, I’d love to help it shine.
A Central Oregon real estate photographer who knows the region
As a Central Oregon real estate photographer, I get to photograph one of the most beautiful corners of the country — the high desert, the Cascades, the Deschutes Land Trust preserves, and the towns scattered between them. That same love of place shows up in how I shoot homes here.
From Bend and Redmond to Sisters, Tumalo and Terrebonne, I know how the light moves across the region and what draws buyers to each community. Working with a Central Oregon real estate photographer who actually lives and shoots here means your listing is framed by someone who understands the setting — the mountain views, the pines, the lifestyle — not just the floor plan. If you’ve got a property anywhere in the region, I’d love to help it shine.
That sense of place is something I bring to every shoot. Knowing how the morning light falls on the Cascades, which neighborhoods feel like home to which buyers, and what makes a high-desert property special means your listing is photographed by someone who genuinely understands the region — not just the floor plan. From Bend and Redmond to Sisters and the smaller towns in between, I would love to help your Central Oregon listing look its very best.
Wherever your property sits in the region, you get a Central Oregon real estate photographer who treats every home like it matters — because to the people selling it, it does. I would love to help yours look its best.
